Onto news
Our Theme for May is "Look how we've grown" we will talk about bugs and gardens and life cycles. May is also our class Graduation. Our preschool curriculum officially ends. We start into our Summer curriculum in June.

April 18-22

We made it through the whole Alphabet!! This means that the rest of the year we will be reviewing all the alphabet letters and Friday is a FREE Choice sharing day.

This Friday is our Easter Party. Please have all egg and Candy Donations to me by Wednesday so I can fill and sort them.

This week Karen is also doing an Art Show as a Part of the Week Of the Young Child. We had a lot of fun last week creating art for it. Especially our 2 sculptures which our class titled "Birthday Cake" and "Sculpture Junk."

This week we will be having fun with eggs and Easter Activities. Friday our party will go from about 9:30 until noon. If your child would like to come and does not usually come on Fridays they are welcome to come. Please just let us know so we can know how many to plan for.

We are still in need of tissues and Pillow cases.

April 11-15

This week we will finish up our 2nd trip through the alphabet this year with letters Y and Z.
Our Theme this month is Spring Fever. We will talk about Dinosaurs this week!
My mind is drawing a blank ... (that's what happens when you have 2 sick kids and a sick husband...)
OH YEAH
Diana wanted me to ask for a few donations to our classroom.
As many of you can see our blanket bags are starting to look their age...we would appreciate any donations of pillow cases. Solid colors please.
Also we are out of tissue. Could every child please bring a box.
Also don't forget plastic eggs and easter candy for our egg hunt.

April 4-8

This month our theme is Spring Fever. We are starting out with a unit on Weather.
This weeks letters are W and X.
Sorry for the slow on Parent Teacher Conferences. Early State Inspections threw us for a loop...we are almost caught up so watch for information soon.
Some of you may wonder about our bulletin board in the hallway. We are learning how to fill each others buckets. If you want to know more about bucket fillers you can check out this site. www.bucketfiller101.com We love this concept and hope you will too.
On Friday the 22nd we will have an Easter Party at school. As part of the party we usually have an egg hunt. This is an activity that we love to involve our great parents in. We ask you to donate plastic eggs and treats for the party. The more the parents donate the more eggs the kids get to hunt for. You can start bringing donation at any time.
