Today we talked about the water cycle, thermometers and weather forecasting.
These girls are checking the temperature outside. We go by 4 levels in our classroom. Blue is so cold we can't go outside. Green is wear a coat or jacket weather. Yellow is you choose if you want to wear a jacket or not and Red is so hot we could go swimming.
These kids found a secret place to curl up and write in the weather notebooks.
We made muffin cup umbrellas with fingerprint raindrops.
But their favorite thing was making this road. They made it so long that they had to go under the tables. I tried to convince them they could just as easily go around but no UNDER it had to be.
Teacher Diana pulled out the measuring tape and the road was longer than the 25 foot tape. It was about 26 feet that is over 300 inches. They worked really hard on this road and were so proud of it!
We are having so much fun learning about weather this week!
