We are still going strong with our Dinosaur Unit.  Here are are few more pictures of center time.

We are using Jurassic Sand in our sensory bin right now. The kiddos kept trying to draw in the piles that fell on the floor, so Monday we scooped some onto cookie sheets and practiced our writing.  This is something you can do at home with a cookie sheet and sugar or sand.  It is a fun way to practice writing and drawing.  We also used little dinosaur to play with or as the writing instrument. The magic part is if you shake the tray a little the writing disappears!

Here are a few picture of our dinosaur bone  watercolor reliefs. First we drew on the paper with white crayons.  Next we painted watercolor over the whole picture.  The water color does not stick to the crayons so the white bones are visible.  Crayon and watercolor reliefs are always
 fun!

Of course we had to play with our dinosaurs. We used our blocks to build them homes.  One child suggested we build them a museum. Such smarties!
In this center we looked at dinosaur skeletons and then used playdough to try and build a skeleton for our dinosaur on top of the drawing. My favorite part was the T-Rex claw bones.

We also dug for dinosaur bones in our Jurassic sand. We then matched the dinosaur bones we found to the picture of his skeleton.

So much fun to be had at school!

Going home this week is a Summer Schedule page. If you don't know exact days they will be gone, it is no big deal.  We mostly need to know which kids are going to drop for the summer and which kids are staying so we know if we can enrole new kids or not.  So please return them ASAP.

Don't forget about the Easter Eggsravaganza this Sat. 10 am.  Don't be late or the eggs will be gone!
Have a great night!
